BIOGRAPHY

Ashley grew up in a household of little women guided by her mother who was in the theater. Her mother sewed the girls’ holiday dresses each year and gifted them with fabrics they used to dress up, play, and imagine, as well as to adorn. Fabric and its potential was the love language between them and were an instrumental influence for Ashley’s work.

Ashley has been an artist for more than a decade. Her latest collections,  Action Panties, and Embroidery have been in recent exhibitions including a solo show at CM Curatorial in San Diego (2019), group shows at Charlie James Gallery (2019), Art Share in LA (2018), OCCCA in Santa Ana (2018), and Avenue 50 in LA (2018).

Ashley works with fiber and fabric, panties and lingerie, and hand-embroidery investigating women's roles, beauty, cosmology, and spirit from her studio in Los Angeles
